I really liked Travis Ford. I had hoped that Travis Perry could develop into a Travis Ford type player. I remember watching Travis Ford play when he was a freshman in high school. I was at WKU and Owensboro Apollo (Rex Chapman) was playing a Madisonville high school (Travis Ford) team .A few of my classmates asked if I wanted to go with them to watch Apollo play in Madisonville, so I went. I didn't know who Travis Ford was when I got there, but after people were talking about how good he was and his dad was coach, etc., I started paying attention...and let me tell you, he impressed me that night. I remember when he transferred to UK I was really excited and glad to have him as a Cat.
Saw Ford in the King of the Bluegrass back in the day. Can't remember who they played but they lost. Ford put on a show, however.

A couple of my favorite moments of his was an around the back behind the head pass to Feldhaus.
Also, his jubilation after he hit the FTs at the end of the LSU comeback. He knew what they just accomplished and he was going bonkers.

Josh Harrelson I loved it when he hit the Ohio State guy in the chest with that bullitt save. I think Ohio State was a one seed.
Heshimu Evans To me, this guy defined energy, always seemed upbeat, and hyped for action.
Alan Edwards Steady... Solid... I always felt for him because his momma passed during the 98? season
Anthony Epps Also steady and consistent. Nailed the three pointer that put us in OT in the 97 title game. Check it out.. Last play of regulation, Bibi charged Nazi... Nazi hits one FT and we have Back to Back to Back...

Lots more where these guys came from... just not enough time...

Forgot to mention, Nazi was 0-6 from the line in that game.... ouuugggghhhh UK was 9 of 17 and Zona was 34 of 40 friggin one from the line.

The value of time is beyond computation. Life is too short to be trifled away. We have but a few days of probation in which to prepare for eternity.

DeAndre Liggins. Darius Miller of course. Dominique Hawkins. EJ FLoreal, seemed like he was on the team for a decade. I liked having Perry Stevenson and Ramon Harris as role players on the Wall/Cousins team.

I'd say D Hawkins. He was a tough guy and improved every season here.

Hard not to be a fan. From my hometown. More than that, he played above his expected level and filled in for missing pieces.

Hard to believe Prickett is #5 all time in steals for us. Rather mind blowing because when you think about steals you immediately think of a Guard.

Prickett was kind of the ultimate lunch pail type player, it's no wonder Pitino loved him so much. He'd bang on the interior, play hard nosed defense, hustle and do all the little intangibles that coaches love, but that players don't really care to do.
